The week long celebration is with the theme “combating COVID-19 our outmost concern as NASPA”

According to the President of the Northern Regional NASPA team, Mr Toyibu Kahad, the theme for the week celebration was vital since COVID-19 has broken down the entire economy of the world and has come to stay therefore there is the need to reco and map up strategies to protect Service personnel as they serve the Nation.

Mr Toyibu kahad added that, the Northern Regional NASPA team donated PPE to some institutions including Stanbic bank and other institutions to help curb the spread of the novel virus.

He also commended the NASPA team from the Sagnarigu Municipality for the productions of hand sanitizers for its members within the Municipality.

The president of the Northern Regional NASPA team also indicated that, the Association has numerous challenges including limited flow of information from the National leadership to the various districts.

Funds has also been one of the major hindrance which is drugging back the vital action plans of the Association, He added.

Mr Toyibu therefore pleaded with major stakeholders to come to the aid of the association to embark on the capital project such as an ultra – modern Auditorium.

He advised all the National services personnel within the country especially within the Northern Region to stick to the basic protocols in fighting against the virus because the virus is real.
