The legendary Northern based rapper, Macassio on the 21st August 2021 shutdown the whole of Tamale in a recent concert held at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium. The artist and his management team defied all odds to hold one of the most attended shows in the history of the Northern region and beyond. The artist is known to set records in the music history and “The Throne” concert as the show is dubbed is no exception. The “rappers jack” is seen sitting on a throne whiles jamming and entertaining thousands of fans from the length and breadth of the country and beyond present at the fully packed and electrified stadium, a king indeed.

Yeli yili upon our interactions with fans on the grounds shared with us their satisfaction. Many of them told us that indeed they were satisfied and will be attending the next show whenever it is. Macassio is a household name in the northern region and has made name not just in the north but has made strides to conquer the south. With collaborations such as Dagomba Girl feat R2bees, Zero 2 Hero, TUMA, and more collaboration in the pipeline for sure we will not be surprised if the king of rap bags a nomination in next VGMA awards. The AMG boss, Medikal was there in full force to electrify fans with his performance in anticipation of the king himself.  Fellow supporting artist where also at the grounds to perform and support the concert, even in the heavy down pour of the rain at the venue, fans where still jamming like its nobody’s business.

Macassio has always being known to set and break records in the northern music industry and beyond. From the Too Big Consert, S concert, Smock Show and host of others, breaking records have come to become a new normal when Macassio’s name is mentioned. The old, young, pious, no matter whom you may be, will jam to the king’s raps when it blasts through a radio set. This has made him the eye of many artist in the region and beyond. Macassio who in a recent collaboration with fellow northern based sensational singer One 9ra on #givethem show his commitment to growing the northern music industry and  is always open to collaboration. The king of rap has collaborated and supported fellow rappers and artists such as Attaka, Bawlee, Nandos, the late S.K.Y, Wizchild and many more, a king indeed taking care of his kingdom.  Fans are still waiting on that elusive collaboration with his alleged nemesis Majeed Bellow.
