Ghana has recorded 4 new cases of COVID

19 in the country – The total number of infected persons confirmed in the country has now climbed to 136

Out of the 136, 78 were from the mandatory quarantine whilst routine surveillance contributed 58

A total of four new cases of the deadly coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19 have been confirmed in Ghana, sending the total number of confirmed cases to 136.

According to the situation updated sighted by Yilayili.com on the official website of the Ghana Health Service, out of the 136, 78 were from the mandatory quarantine whilst routine surveillance contributed 58. Previously, the total number of infected people from the mandatory quarantine was the same 78 which implies that all the new cases were added from the routine surveillance in the country.

Doing the maths on the figures above reveals that a total of three people have passed in Ghana from the 136 total confirmed cases which sent the resulting cases to 133. Out of the 133, one person has recovered in Ghana, which means the total number of people in the country who have been confirmed to live with the deadly coronavirus is now 132.

It is hoped that the gentle rise in cases would be a sign of Ghana’s initiation of flatting the curve, which would mean that the total number of cases would start to drop soon.
